Christopher “Kennedy” Rodgers is a distinguished Army Veteran, athlete, and executive leader who serves as a vital bridge between the hardwood and the front office. As the President of the Military Basketball Association Players Association (MBAPA), Rodgers acts as the primary liaison between team player representatives and MBA leadership. A powerful advocate for the athlete experience, he serves as the official spokesperson for all players during the annual MBA Coaches Summit and plays a key role in the league’s strategic communication efforts to drive global growth and veteran engagement.

On-Court Dominance & Accolades

On the court, the Birmingham, Alabama native is recognized as an "offensive maestro" Standing 6'2", the Fort Bliss Knights guard is renowned for his elite shooting prowess and high-octane scoring ability, averaging a remarkable 19.6 points per season. His competitive drive and leadership as Team Captain have led to significant hardware and recognition:2025 Puerto Rico Classic MVP; 2025 Western Conference MVP; and Two-time MBA All-Star

Service & Academic Excellence

A retired Staff Sergeant (SSG) with nearly a decade of dedicated service in the U.S. Army, Rodgers has successfully transitioned his military discipline into both his athletic and professional pursuits. He is a staunch advocate for veterans' benefits and a regular fixture at community events supporting those who served. 

Rodgers is currently furthering his professional development at The Culinary Institute at Southwest University, where he is pursuing an Associate degree in Culinary Arts. He maintains an impressive 3.44 GPA, reflecting the same commitment to excellence that defined his military career and his current standing as one of the league’s premier leaders.
