MBA Announces 2024 Hall of Fame Inductees!

The Military Basketball Association (MBA) is proud to announce the Inductees for the 2024 MBA Hall of Fame (HOF). Following an extensive nomination process, the MBA HOF committee selected inductees from the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force. 

“We are proud of the 2024 MBA Hall of Fame inductees and their significant contributions to military basketball over the years. This year will complete the list of MBA Patriarchs from our past in all four branches of service. The MBA will now have the four greatest influencers and coaches in military basketball history in its Hall of Fame. These four coaches are Ted Albers (USAF), Chris Crawford (USMC), Richard Greene (USN), and this year, Ron Foster (USA). Their contributions span almost 50 plus years. All of the inductees serve as a tribute to the importance of resilience through sports. This year is a reunion year so we are asking as many inductees to plan to attend in Philadelphia, PA.  They are the living embodiment of ‘Life Through Basketball’”, says Co-Founders of the MBA, Mike Meyers and Angel Acevedo. “Congratulations to each inductee and their supporters.” 

For the 2nd consecutive year, the Paramount Veterans Network, is the presenting sponsor of the Hall of Fame ceremony. The live event will take place on May 23, 2023, in Philadelphia, PA.
